Baked Quiche

Preparing a quiche while camping can be a tasty breakfast option.

Ingredients:
1 pre-made pie crust in a tin (freezer section of the market)
3 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup grated goat cheese
1/2 cup diced orange bell pepper
1/2 cup diced ham
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1 Â Â large tomato, diced and seeded
2 oz. unsalted butter, diced
Directions:
Bake unfilled pie crust for 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Â In a medium bowl, whisk eggs and buttermilk together. Add remaining ingredients and pour into pre baked pie crust. Turn oven heat down to 325 degrees. Â Bake quiche for approximately 40 minutes or until the custard is set and the top of the quiche is slightly browned. Â Remove quiche from the oven and sliced and serve after the quiche has rested for 10 minutes.
