Driving my RV GoPro video

I use a lot of cameras while we travel North America in our Roadtrek RV. One of my favorites is the GoPro Hero, a very tiny high def camera that I can mount to the side of my vehicle, wear on a bike hemet or attach to just about anything.

The folks who make the camera just released some free editing software called GoPro Studio. I couldn't resist downloading it last night and throwing in a few of our driving shots from this summer. The music comes with the template you download, so no complaints, please.
The video includes shots from Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Missouri and South Dakota.
I'll play with more of my GoPro video later but here's the first effort with their new video editing software… without going through the tutorial.
By the way, the software also imports video from your smartphone or other cameras so you can edit it into slick looking videos, too.
nice
How many mega pixel, memory size, and how long is the battery life? You took great pictures !
My father made his own mount and used to film road shots in the 70’s through the 90’s.
We love this Camara is amazing!
We have a c 32 ft class C but still relate.
I like my gopro
Mike … I’m on the verge of ordering one now. Question … every video I have seen seems to have a music track. Haven’t seen one that appears to have just an audio track that was recorded while the video was actually being recorded.
Can I assume that that is possible?? Instead of just music playing I can have a recorded audio track that was taken while the video is actually being recorded.
Loving my Black Edition. It’s an amazing camera with many functions. Like you, Mike, I’ve added a few mounts, including the suction cup mount, which GoPro claims will stay on a moving vehicle up to 100MPH. I’ve had mine on the passenger window of my SUV at 65MPH with no problems. I also have installed “permanent” mounts on the inside of the windshield in both my RS and my SUV. Gotten some cool vids in both vehicles.
I just ordered the Black edition yesterday, Jim. Also an extra battery and the stick on monitor. They are running a special that tosses in the wi-fi option.
Might be here tomorrow, Monday for sure. Giving my old one to Jeff. You may also want to get a bunch of mounts. I have a helmet mount and a couple of stick on mounts. And I have a homemade mount that is on the end of a retractable monoped so I can extend it and get higher shots, like of the solar panels and the rooftop.
GoPro 3 very nice camera I like quality of video.
Now we are in Oregon and this is my last aerial video

Beautiful video….love that coast!!!
Just checked out your video … very, very cool. What kind of “copter” are you using??
OK Mike, you’ve got me thinking about adding a GoPro to my arsenal again. You’ve been using one for a while so if you were buying today, would you go for the Black model? And what extras would you add. Extra batteries, mounts, etc???
Very cool … looks like I’ll be looking at the in the near future as well. Be great when I do my Newfoundland and then Alaska Adventures.
Sweet! Who can’t love the great American West!
Looks like something else I need to add to the RT!
I love my GoPro. We did a video with it just a few days ago.

I’ll have to check out this software.
Thanks for the heads up.
Technology is so awesome. This is great. Looks like we need to add the GoPro to our arsenal! Looking forward to seeing more from you!
