Our annual winter camping adventure at Tahquamenon Falls State Park in Michigan's Upper Peninsula drew its best crowd yet, some 60 RVers from as far away as Florida. We had folks in fifth wheels, Roadtreks, Pleasure-Ways, Advanced RVs, home made converted vans and two tents equipped with wood burning stoves.

We cross country skied, snow shoed, hiked, explored the nearby area, visited the surrounding area and the start Lake Superior winter shoreline and of course shared meals and giant campfires.

    I found the foil to put on windows of my Dodge Caravan. Laying clean cardboard boxes on the floor and a throw rug. Still have bench for sleeping on but I do have never used still in packing plastic mattress. There is a Habitat store can I find pieces to fit in my van? I do have comfy rocking chair, only used when not driving. It is the electric etc wondering about. Want to help my friend who also has a van and wants to convert to camper van also. I am planning to drive over Prairies to Ontario to Perth, On. and rest of Ottawa Valley. If I have time head to Nova Scotia to met old school friend, unless she comes and starts from my home in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Maybe you folks might meet me. Taking Northern route up to Hearst. Feb.4th 2019.

    Would like to see how campers are on the inside in the cold weather. Video of all the aspects in very cold environment.

  5. Thanks for showing a great alternate to the usual Snow birding south in the winter. I am anticipating a hip replacement will allow me to return to camping of nearly 70 years (since a cub scout). As a family of scouts including a dad, son, son-in-law, grandsons and a girl scout gold, camping with them throughout, I miss the smell of a nice fire. Your videos keep me motivated till after the surgery.

  7. I’m probably not the first person to comment that Jen’s mic has a fault. It sounds like you might have done some audio editing to minimize the impact and if so , great job.
